This INSITE application, included with Space Management, provides the opportunity to input and track basic Grant information and assign the Grant to all spaces where the work is being done. While GT is not a replacement for the comprehensive Grant Administration activities done at most institutions, it does serve the purpose of identifying what Grants are located in what spaces. A single space may have multiple Grants associated with it, and a Grant can be assigned to many spaces.
Basic information that can be tracked for a Grant includes Grant name and number, funding source, status, start / end dates, annual funding amounts during the Grant period, principal investigator and organization executing the Grant and many other customizable items. Each Grant includes the ability to assign one or more spaces to the Grant Record.
